MacPOSX was designed to be simple and easy to use when creating new sales. Our OS X version was fashioned after the features and ease of use found in our classic MacPOS, which was first sold in 1985. It provides a superior interface layout, which can be customized, your way. This is something that our competitors just don't provide as an option. The Sales Order window can be easily setup with only the features and information you want to see.
You can change the layout of the POS interface and database forms to suit your needs. Use colors you like and a font size that you can read. Design your own interface to utilize the entire screen resolution of your monitor.
The TouchPad interface can include pictures of your products. Add a touchscreen monitor for quick product sales.
You can find most anything from the Sales window, whether it's a product price, current in stock level, a contact's email address or the status of that special ordered item for your best customer.
Sell anything at any time. Even if an item is not in your Item database, you can sell it instantly by just typing the information freely. You can even use the program in a simple cash register mode where you click on or enter a Department key to sell items not yet entered or labeled.
Scan barcode labels at the point-of-sale for accurate product pricing. Greatly reduce inaccurate pricing and keying errors. Use a touch screen monitor for quick sales using only your finger to add products and finish the sale.
Access any item or contact on an order with a single keystroke or mouse click. Instantly view a customer's prior sales transactions.
Record service information or detailed notes about an order. Add several custom fields or rename existing ones to suit your needs.
Customize the list of items showing on an order to include minimal or very detailed information. There are currently 18 different fields that can be placed in the repeating list of items on the order as shown below.
Design your receipts and invoices in the layout editor. Print to any OS X supported printer and include your company logo and detailed receipt messages. With the Star TSP643 printer, you can create detailed receipts and print promotional coupons at the end of a receipt.
