Walk-in Customer Sale

This example shows the creation of a walk-in customer sale, adding items and posting the order. This shows the complete process of a sale in MacPOSx.

This example shows entering a new customer in the contact database and then starting a new sale for them. The contact is added to the database and a new order is started in one step.

This example shows how a Credit Card Sale with AuthPayX is executed. After the order is created and the items are added, you simply swipe the credit card through the reader to get an authorization of the sale.

An alternate example shows how a Credit Card Sale with AuthPayX executed. The order is created and you post the sale, then indicate payment with a credit card. When requested simply swipe the card in the reader.

New Account Sale

This example shows Finding a customer in the contact database and then starting a new sale for them. After finding the contact, just hit F1 from the contact database to start a new order. The Start a New Sale button is clicked and it starts a new sale for whatever contact is showing.

Finding a Customer 

In this example a customer is searched for in the list and selected for the new sale. Items are added using the manual or barcode scanning window and the list window. Then post the sale and manually enter and pay with a credit card. The sale is authorized and the customizable POS display window appears ready for a new sale.

The examples below show how to use the Layout mode to make changes in your view of a database, label, receipt or report. You can change the entire look of the layout to suit you and what you like. Add additional custom fields or reassign existing ones.
